Two armed robbers were shot and injured in a shooting at the Centurion Mall on Thursday evening.
Mall spokesperson Marli Strauss said the incident happened around 18:00.

Details were still sketchy, but Strauss said that there was a shootout between armed robbers and a security guard.
“Two of the suspects were injured when the security guard returned fire,” she said.
“The security guard was also injured and transported to hospital.”

She said emergency services were treating the injured.
The police were still on the scene, but could not immediatly provide information at the time of going to press.
