VIDEO: CCTV footage of suspects linked to murder of Moot vet

Malan was killed in January when he and one of the male suspects got into a scuffle and a shot was fired, hitting him in the chest.

Well-known private investigator Mike Bolhuis posted CCTV video footage of the three suspects wanted in connection with the murder of Dr. Freddie Malan earlier this year.
Malan was murdered on 31 January at the Jakaranda animal hospital in the Moot in Pretoria. In the footage, three people are seen entering the business and going about the robbery. The people in the video are believed to be possibly linked to 15 other similar cases around Johannesburg and Pretoria, using the same modus operandi.
“A woman would enter the business and then distract the receptionist. Two men would then enter the premises and rob them at gunpoint,” Bolhuis explained.
In Malan’s murder, the woman gained access to the clinic claiming she had a sick pet. “When the door was opened for her, she kept the gate open for her two male accomplices.” Malan was killed when he and one of the male suspects got into a scuffle and a shot was fired, hitting him in the chest.

After Malan’s death, Bolhuis and his team were appointed to investigate the murder. Bolhuis urged anyone with more information about the suspects to come forward. The suspects are also wanted for robberies around the Johannesburg area, which include Edenvale, Kemptonpark and Kensington. “This is an urgent request for information,” Bolhuis said on his video posted on his Facebook page.
