Another body found in Cullinan

Cullinan police needs help with identifying two bodies which was found last week.

Cullinan police have asked the public for any information that could help them identify a second body found in the area this week.

This as the body of a man was found in a “shallow hole” in Franspoort near Mamelodi quarry in Cullinan on Friday.

“An unknown man’s body was found by a worker who was walking around in the area and alerted the police,” Cullinan police spokesperson Constable Connie Moganedi said.

Moganedi said the deceased was wrapped in a blanket and a white duvet.

“The victim was wearing a pair of blue trousers and is estimated to be between the ages of 25 to 45.”

On the day before, the body of an unidentified woman was found dumped and burned beyond recognition at the mining area by security personnel on patrol.

“The deceased was a slender female, estimated to be between 23 and 29,” Moganedi said.

“Anyone missing a family member who may match the above description or anyone with an information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects can contact Warrant Officer July Maseko on 082-319-9673 or Cullinan police on 012-734-0751.”
