UPDATE: Bushiri case postponed again
Bushiri and his wife Mary face charges of fraud and money laundering.

There has been another postponement in the case of the self-proclaimed prophet, Shepherd Bushiri, and his wife Mary.
The couple appeared in the specialised commercial crime court in Pretoria on Thursday, on charges of fraud, money laundering and contravention of the prevention of organised crime. There have been several postponements since the two were arrested in February, at their Sparkling Waters resort in Rustenburg.
They are out on R100 000 bail each with strict bail conditions, including handing over their travel documentation and seeking permission to travel outside Gauteng and North West.

The Bushiris are set to return to the court on 29 November, for the defence to make its formal legal representations, which if successful, the charges would be withdrawn.
Meanwhile, hundreds of the prophet’s Enlightened Christian Gathering church members gathered outside the court to show their support to the couple.
