UPDATE: No news in Atteridgeville man’s dissapearence

Madimetja France Legong was last heard of on 1 November 2018.

There were no new leads in the disappearance of an Atteridgeville man from who went missing last year, according to his family.

Madimetja France Legong was last heard of on 1 November 2018.

His uncle Johannes Legong of Kalafong Heights told Rekord that there were no new developments.

“I’m hoping that the spread of the news of his disappearance will work,” he said on Sunday.

“Somewhere, someone will see it and know where he is.”

Johannes said he was “devastated” over his nephew’s disappearance.

“We have already searched everywhere for him, but he is nowhere to be found.”

He was offering a reward of R20 000 to anyone that could lead him to his nephew.

“I truly believe that we will get to the bottom of the situation and that the truth will come out,” he said.

“Hopefully, the reward will also help.”

Johannes pleaded with the community to come forward with information that could lead to his nephew.

“We just want to know what happened and where he is,” he said.
