Man shot, robbed on west smallholding

This was the fourth farm attack in Pretoria on Friday.

A man is recovering in hospital after being shot in what was the fourth attack on a smallholding in the Pretoria area on Friday.

The robbery happened on a smallholding in Pine Road, Magaliesmoot, Pretoria West around 21:20, said Hercules CPF spokesperson Ricky Louw.

She said the man’s silver Toyota Hilux, cell phone, laptop and bank card with its pin were taken in the robbery.

Louw said the three robbers managed to flee the scene.

“The man of the house was shot in his arm and taken to hospital in a stable condition,” she said.

She said CPF members Nico and Edna van Vuuren went out to the scene.

The police could not immediately comment at the time of going to press.

This was the fourth farm attack in the Pretoria area on Friday.

Three other separate attacks happened in the Kameeldrift area, north of Pretoria.
