Two injured in Moot collision
"One person sustained head injuries and the other injuries to the chest, shoulders and back.”
Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in the Moot on Monday morning.
According to Best Care ambulance spokesperson Xander Loubser, the accident happened after 10:00 in Steve Biko Road just after Hoërskool Wonderboom.
“Three vehicles were involved in the accident,” Loubser said.
He said that one vehicle overturned.

Loubser said that it appeared to have been a head-on-collision, adding that the exact cause would form part of the police investigation.
He said two people were seriously injured in the accident.
“One person sustained head injuries while the other person sustained upper body injuries to the chest, shoulders and back,” he said.

“The person who sustained a head injury was trapped inside the vehicle when we arrived on the scene.”
Loubser said both men were transported by Best Care ambulance services to hospital.
By 11:18, Loubser said traffic was still heavily backed up in both directions.
