NEWSFLASH: Fire breaks out at Cemetery View

“Plastic recycling [material] next to the informal settlement was on fire”

A fire broke out at the Cemetery View informal settlement on Monday afternoon.

Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Charles Mabaso said paramedics were called to the scene at 11:30 where they found rubbish burning.

“Plastic recycling [material] next to the informal settlement was on fire,” he said.

“The fire has been extinguished. “

No injuries were reported and no shacks were affected.
