NEWSFLASH: Foetus found in Laudium dustbin

The foetus was discovered shortly after 08:00 at Laudium Square parking in Tangerine Street.

Laudium police have opened a case of concealment of birth after a foetus was found dumped in a dustbin on Tuesday morning.

The foetus was discovered shortly after 08:00 at Laudium Square parking in Tangerine Street, said police spokesperson Constable Simon Chokoe.

“Police are appealing to the residents with information which could locate the mother to come forward or they can contact a local police station,” he said.

Investigations are continuing.
