NEWSFLASH: Moot man found dead after home invasion

Edwin Muller's body was discovered at his Rietondale home on Wednesday.

The Pretoria Moot police are asking anyone with more information on the 32-year-old man was found dead after a house robbery to come forward.

Edwin Muller was found dead at his Rietondale home by his 64-year-old mother, whom he shared the house with, around 18:40 on Wednesday, said police spokesperson Captain Anton Breedt.

“The victim sustained multiple wounds to his head and body,” he said.

“He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services.”

Breedt said the alleged robbers took a laptop, money and jewellery.

“They gained access to the premises through the back door, which they broke open,” he said.

He said the police were investigating a case of murder and house robbery.

He urged anyone with more information to contact the police on 086-001-0111.
