The Temba police and community patrollers arrested 15 people for dagga-related crimes as well as for the possession of counterfeit goods and dealing in liquor without a licence on Thursday morning.
Spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said the operation was under the command of Temba SAPS station commander Brigadier Martha Mokobori.
“A few houses were searched around Ratjiepan, Mmotla, Eersterus, Stinkwater and Bosplaas, where dagga was found hidden inside the houses. Three people were found selling counterfeit CDs and a woman was also found selling liquor without proper documentation at Bosplaas.”

Moremi said all the arrested would appear in court soon.
Mokobori said those still dealing in drugs would face the music.
“Drug dealers won’t have peace as long as we are around and our aim is to keep the community of Temba clean. We have dedicated members who are willing to serve, combat crime and protect our society,” she said.
She encouraged the community to continue giving the police information about those who committed crime.
