WIN! These are the winners of our Baby Bump competition
Not even thundershowers and rain could stop the celebrations at the prize-giving ceremony of our very first Baby Bump competition that took place this past weekend at the Faerie Glen (Olympus Centre) Dis-Chem store.

Not even thundershowers and rain could stop the celebrations at the prize-giving ceremony of our very first Baby Bump competition that took place this past weekend at the Faerie Glen (Olympus Centre) Dis-Chem store.
The winner, runners up (along with their newborns) and their guests gathered for a morning of fun and prizes.

We asked pregnant mommies of the capital to send us pics of them bragging with their baby bumps after which the public had the tough choice to vote for their favourites.
The winner of our very first Baby Bump competition was Bernice Janse van Rensburg. Runner-up was Kerry Arnolds and in third place was Janine McFadden.
Then, of course, there was the editor’s favourite photograph, the Editor’s Choice award, which went to Karen Marais.

The votes for the winner rolled in, especially after the quirky message her husband, Quinton Janse van Rensburg, posted on Facebook encouraging people to vote for her.
In the message Janse van Rensburg encouraged voters to please vote for his wife in her animal-print dress.
He said she was definitely something for the eye (he was not going to lie) and that it would be the only time he would allow people to admire his wife so openly.

The message paid off and Janse van Rensburg’s wife walked away with prizes that included a sip and see party with a specialist cake for her and 20 guests worth R5 000 at Anja’s Tea Garden, a two night’s stay for two adults sharing, including a game drive at Little Serengeti worth R2 500, a Chelino Daytona Baby car chair with Isofix from Baby Fantasy worth R3 600, designer baby linen from Cotton Collective worth R4 000, supporting pregnancy underwear from Julie Kay Baby Way valued at R3 500, a pan and tilt Foscam security camera worth R2 390, a universal dress from Stylishi worth R750, a Netflorist online voucher worth R500, hampers from Bennet and beauty vouchers from Nova Vida worth R10 410, baby activity toys from Babilazoo worth R510, a Retha Rodgers Photography session worth R1 800, Baby Bubbles Spa vouchers worth R1 350, Bennetts and Purity hampers worth R1 000 each, an Omo the Clown birthday party worth R4 000, a 4D scan voucher from 4D Scan worth R900, a hamper from LoveLeigh Baby valued at R1 450, Dis-Chem products to the value of R2 000 and a book from LAPA Uitgewers (My First 5 Years) worth R400.
