UPDATE: West taxi driver sought after road-rage murder
It was speculated that he initially fled to Kwaggafontein in Mpumalanga, but we have since received a tip-off that he has returned to Pretoria and is driving a different taxi.
Pretoria West police appealed to local residents to come forward with any information on the whereabouts of a taxi driver who allegedly stabbed and killed a motorist in a road rage incident.
Thulare Titus Masemula is wanted for murder following the incident in September.
“Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court has issued an arrest warrant for us to take Masemula into custody for murder,” said police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Vuma.
“It was speculated that he initially fled to Kwaggafontein in Mpumalanga,” said Vuma, “but we have since received a tip-off that he has returned to Pretoria and is driving a different taxi.
“If anyone can assist the police in finding this man, we are willing to give a reward.”
