Eskom has announced that it will continue with stage 2 load shedding for the rest of Saturday.
Spokesperson Nto Rikhotso said that load shedding will continue to 23:00 on Saturday.

The cuts come after the power utility implemented load shedding on Thursday afternoon due to limited capacity.
On Friday morning, Eskom said that the system remained under severe pressure due to unplanned breakdowns and this resulted in them implementing stage 2 load shedding.
