Two areas were left without power following two separate incidents on Saturday.
One of the areas affected was Monavoni in Centurion, the Tshwane metro said.
The outage was caused by a cable fault, they said, and more technicians have been dispatched to tend to the problem.

“Region 4 is experiencing an increase in electricity interruption complaints,” the metro said in a statement.
“It is as a result of equipment failures on both medium and low voltage networks affecting group and individual customers.”

The outage was as a result of two stolen cables between the Soshanguve and CC substations, the metro said.
Block AA, G, F and CC were affected.
The metro said the electricity team was arranging repairs.
It was not yet clear when supply would be restored.
