A 47-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a elderly woman in Capital Park.
Babsie Cowley (95) was found murdered in her own home on the corner of Flowers Street and 7th Avenue on Friday morning.

The murder, however, already happened on Thursday evening.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Augistinah Selepe a person was arrested on Sunday.

“The suspect is known to the deceased and will appear in the Pretoria magistrates court on Monday,” she said.
Selepe previously said that preliminary investigations indicated that Cowley was suffocated.
