Metro closes down for non-essential services

“Please take note that offices will close at 12:00 on 24 December 2019.”

The Tshwane metro has announced it would be closed for non-essential services during the festive period.

It said non-essential services would be closed on 27, 30 and 31 December 2019 and would reopen on 2 January 2020.

“Please take note that offices will close at 12:00 on 24 December 2019,” the statement continued.

The metro added municipal pay points as stated below will be open on 27, 30 and 31 December but would close at 12:00 on 31 December:

“If you are away during the festive season there are easy, quick and safe electronic facilities you can use to make payments,” the metro advised adding municipal services should always be paid “whether you have received a notice or not”.

“You can make payments through e-Tshwane or at accredited third-party pay points such as the post office, Pick’nPay, USavem, OK, Spar, Boxer, Caltex, BP, EP kiosks, Investec, MTN, FNB, Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Shoprite or Checkers,” the metro said. Payments can also be made via electronic transfers.
