Shots were fired in an attempted cash-in-transit heist on Wednesday afternoon, in Soshanguve.
The incident happened around 13:50, said provincial police spokesperson Colonel Brenda Muridili.

“However, the armoured vehicle managed to escape the suspects’ attempt to stop the vehicle,” she said.
“The suspects fled from the scene.

The armoured vehicle driver drove to a garage in Block F. There were bullet holes in the window and one of the vehicle’s tyres was punctured by bullets.
