A man was shot and killed in an attempted robbery at a salon in Laudium, just outside Centurion.
The incident happened on Friday evening, in 15th Avenue, said Ibraheem Dockret of Laudium Disaster Management.

“Four armed robbers entered the salon,” he said.
Dockret said it appeared as if one of the alleged robbers was shot and killed by a customer.

“The other three managed to flee from the scene,” he said.
Police and other authorities were on the scene.
