Two people were arrested for allegedly breaking into an eatery and stealing alcohol on Saturday afternoon.
Bull security spokesperson French Jooste said the incident took place in Elarduspark.
They were informed by the guards at a shopping centre, he said.
“Our officers responded swiftly and upon arrival, the guards informed us that two suspects were inside the restaurant busy stealing alcohol.”
Jooste said the pair were caught trying to flee.
“Both suspects were handed over to Lyttelton SAPS.”
Police have yet to comment.
