Three burnt bodies found in west

It was believed the men could be victims of mob justice.

The bodies of three men burnt beyond recognition were found on top of a mountain in Phumolong informal settlement in Atteridgeville on Tuesday.

Police were called to the scene and discovered the bodies upon arrival, according to police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubela.

It was believed the men could be victims of mob justice.

“We call upon the community not to take the law in their own hands, killing another person is a crime,” said Makhubela.

He asked for anyone with any info on the incident to please contact the police via Crime Stop on 08600-10111 or via the MySAPS app.

He said cases of murder were being investigated by Tshwane district police.
