
Police are searching for four armed men who attacked and robbed a house in Doornrandjies, in the Centurion area, on Saturday evening.
According to Erasmia police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto, four armed men got into the house on the smallholding, one armed with a firearm.
“The alleged robbers tied the husband and wife up.”
He said the alleged robbers then took an undisclosed amount of money, a plasma TV, cellphones and clothes.
“No arrests have been made yet. We are investigating a case of house robbery,” Moloto said.
CERT-SA responded to the attack. According to spokesperson Ruan Heyns, a man was assaulted by an alleged armed intruder.
“The man sustained minor injuries and was assessed, and treated on the scene. Fortunately the man’s wife and two kids were unharmed in the incident.”
