No arrested in Garsfontein attempted murder case

A 50-year-old man was left in a critical condition after being shot during a robbery at his home. 

Police are still searching for a group of men who shot a 50-year-old Garsfontein man during a robbery on Saturday.

The man, who was transported to hospital in a critical condition, was sleeping in his house in Rooigras Street, when three armed men entered and shot him.

Police spokesperson Captain Kay Mkhabela said the police were still waiting for the victim to recover to establish which items were stolen.

“No arrests have been made yet.”

A case of house robbery and attempted murder is being investigated.

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the robbers must call the nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600-10111 or give a tip-off on the MySAPS app.
