Three armed men got away after robbing a house of R30 000 worth of items in Brooklyn in Aquila Road recently.
CSI security spokesperson Dana Bloem said they received a call that there was an armed robbery around 11:45 in which three armed men entered the premises.
“Our officer was dispatched to the scene with various other security groups,” he said.
“He made contact with the female victim on the premises who gave information as best she could due to the fact that the lady was traumatised.”
Bloem said police were called to the scene, while it was discovered that the vehicle used in the crime had false number plates.
“The robbers stole six TVs, three laptops, seven cellphones, a computer and alcohol,” he said.
“The estimated damage is R30 000.”
Police were unavailable for comment.
