Two arrested in Centurion police operation
“We would like to remind the community to be vigilant at all times, especially going into the next few weeks when lockdown restrictions will be eased.”
Two alleged drug dealers in Lyttelton, Centurion, were arrested after they were caught red-handed dealing in illegal drugs.
“Early Wednesday morning, members of the roving team embarked on an intensive intelligence-driven operation in the Elarduspark area,” said police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller.
“The success of the operation was due to the dedication and patience of all involved.”
Miller said cat and cocaine to the value of about R8 000 were recovered.
“The suspects will face charges of possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.”
The suspects were expected to appear in the Pretoria magistrate’s court within 48 hours of their arrest.
“We would like to remind the community to be vigilant at all times, especially going into the next few weeks when lockdown restrictions will be eased.”
Miller also urged the community to please report all suspicious activities to the local police station, CPF or security companies.
