A 50-year-old man was arrested for the murder of Evelyn De Kock (42), who was found stabbed to death and her body left in an outside room in Eersterust on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela said the man was arrested on Monday.

“Detectives, crime prevention and Tshwane District task team followed information of where the suspect fled in Eldorado Park to hide,” he said.
“The police traced the suspect yesterday [Sunday] and he was not found.”
Makhubela said the team received additional information on the suspect’s whereabouts on Monday.

“They proceeded to Eldorado Park where the man was arrested,” he said.
The man was set to appear in the Pretoria magistrate’s court soon.
