Kidnapped family found near Dennilton
A 50-year-old woman, her daughter and two grandchildren have been found after they were hijacked in Cullinan.
Police are searching for a group of suspects who hijacked a 50-year-old women, her daughter and two grandchildren in Cullinan on Saturday.
It was reported that the woman and her family were driving on Phahlane street in Refilwe around 18:30, when the unknown suspects hijacked their vehicle and drove off with them.
“The victims were found near Dennilton on the early hours of Sunday morning,” police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela said.
The suspects took off with the white BMW 3 series with the registration number DG 03 SY GP.
“A case of hijacking is been opened and the investigation is underway,” he said.
Anyone with information that can assist the police is urged to contact the Cullinan police station or give an anonymous tip off on 10111 or on the MySAPS app.
