Armed robbery at East uniform store
Three armed men entered the store and held the attendant at gunpoint before ransacking it.
A school uniform store was robbed in Constantia Park on Saturday morning.
Police spokesperson Koba Brits said the incident took place at 10:00 on Mandelson street.
“Three men entered the shop. When a shop attendant wanted to sanitise their hands they saw the men had gloves on,” she said.
“They .then held the personnel at gunpoint.”
Brits said the three, who were armed with handguns, got away with R4000 from the till as well as three cellphones.
She said no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
