Pretoria Covid-19 cases on ‘low’ as only 445 cases recorded on Sunday

The total number of Covid-19 cases stands at 40 258.

Pretoria Covid-19 daily cases recorded on Sunday, were about 445, a low number during the time that was anticipated to be a peak for the transmissions.

Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 cases stood at 40 258 with 25 800 recoveries and 531 recorded deaths thus far.

The  breakdown was as follows:

Sub-district totals: City of Tshwane 40 258 cases breakdown:

– City of Tshwane 1: Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, Winterveldt, Soshanguve, Rosslyn, Karen Park, Wonderboom, Akasia, Nina Park, Orchards, Amandasig, Theresa Park, Pretoria North (8 860 cases and 5 969  recoveries );

– City of Tshwane 2: Hammanskraal, Temba, Stuurman, Dilopye, Stinkwater, Ramotse, New Eersterust, Kameeldrift, Pyramid/Rooiwal, Doornpoort, Kekana Gardens, Marokolong, Randstown, Kanana (2 897  cases and 1 418 recoveries);

– City of Tshwane 3: Atteridgeville, Laudium, Pretoria CBD, Hercules, Danville, Saulsville, Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West (12 469 cases and 9 606 recoveries);

– City of Tshwane 4: Lyttelton, Eldoraigne, Waterkloof, Olievenhoutbosch, Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, Brooklyn, Hatfield (6 388 cases and 3 806 recoveries)

– City of Tshwane 5: East Lynne, Rayton, Cullinan, De Wagensdrift, Refilwe, Silverton, Onverwacht (858 cases and 345 recoveries);

– City of Tshwane 6: Eersterust, Lethabong, Mamelodi, Silver Lakes, Garsfontein, Lynnwood, Queenswood, Wilgers, Waltloo, Equestria, Mooikloof, Brummeria (7 659 cases 4 162 recoveries); and

– City of Tshwane 7: Ekangala, Sokhulumi, Dark City, Zithobeni, Bronkhorstspruit, Kanana, Rethabiseng (1 014 cases and 494 recoveries).

In the Tshwane district, the department reported 113 unallocated cases.
