Cool to mild temperatures for Pretoria
The warm weather will come as a relief to many after last week’s intense cold front that saw temperatures dipping below zero for the first time this year in Pretoria.
Pretoria residents can expect cool to mild temperatures this week, the SA Weather Service said on Monday.
This will come as a relief to many after last week’s intense cold front that saw temperatures dipping below zero for the first time this year in Pretoria.
While no cold front is expected for Gauteng this week, the minimum below freezing temperatures will however still linger for most of the week, said SA Weather Service forecaster Edward Engelbrecht.
“For both Monday and Tuesday, we are looking a maximum of 17°C and 18°C,” he said.
“Wednesday would see temperatures again in the high teens with sunny clear skies.” Englebrecht said temperatures would start improving from Thursday.
“We are looking at a maximum of 20°C for Thursday and Friday. Again, like the rest of the week, we will be seeing clear skies throughout.”
