These include illegal outdoor advertising signs on public and private property and various town planning scheme contraventions.

The Tshwane metro has called on residents to report illegal land uses in terms of the town planning scheme contraventions.

“These include illegal outdoor advertising signs on public and private property and various town planning scheme contraventions,” said MMC for economic development and spatial planning department Bruce Lee.

Lee said the metro relied on the cooperation of residents to report illegal land uses and violations.

Suspected town planning contraventions can be reported at the built environment and enforcement inspectorate section by emailing:

– Landusecontraventions@tshwane.gov.za

– Outdooradvertisingcomplaints@tshwane.gov.za

The complaint must contain the erf number and/or street address and the suburb of the contravening property.

Complaints can also be reported anonymously.
