Metro suspends municipal pay points at SPAR, Post Office
The suspension comes as a result of technical challenges experienced in processing payments made through SPAR and the Post Office.
Tshwane metro residents won’t be able to pay their municipal bills at the Post Office and SPAR outlets for the time being because of technical problems.
“The suspension comes as a result of technical challenges experienced in processing payments made through the two outlets,” said Tshwane metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo on Thursday.
Residents won’t be able to pay for municipal services, rates and levies.
“All post offices and SPAR outlets are affected,” he said.
Mashigo said residents would be alerted once the payment system has been restored at the affected vendors.
