Missing East man found

36-year-old Louis De Villiers’ car was found in in Letlhabile, North West last week with what looked like blood in it.

The Brooklyn man who has been missing for nearly a week has been found safe and sound.

36-year-old Louis De Villiers was reported missing Wednesday morning after leaving his house to visit his mother in Monument Park.

His vehicle was found abandoned in Letlhabile, North West, with what looked like blood in it.

Private investigator Mike Bolhuis confirmed on Tuesday that De Villiers was unharmed and had been at an undisclosed location out of his free will.

“He is stable, he is healthy. He was not kidnapped, he is not hurt or harmed,” Bolhuis said.

“He was at a place where he didn’t want anyone to know where he was.”

“We will now mediate with the third parties involved that have caused him to make such a disappearance.”

Bolhuis said his team of investigators would be doing a proper evaluation of the situation that led to this and will be assisting him to rehabilitate him and reintegrate back into society and his home.

He said the intervention did not require any medical experts and that De Villiers was experiencing some pressure that led him to disappear.

“In the world of today people make drastic decisions and it’s not always the best decisions to make.”

“People adhere to extreme pressures and situations and what’s going on everywhere as well as in their family lives, so all those kind of things can sway people to make extreme things, which aren’t always the best thing to do.”

When asked about the blood like substance that was found in De Villiers’ car, Bolhuis said.

“It was blood, but it was not due to his harm.”

“He is safe and he is not harmed in any way.”

Police had not commented by the time of going to print.
