Search continues for woman over fraud investigation

Akasia police are still searching for a Botswana woman believed to be residing in a neighbouring township in connection with a fraud investigation.
“Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Loane Lonicco Moache should please contact the police,” police spokesperson Constable Lindiwe Mdluli said.

Moache was believed to be residing in the Ga-Rankuwa area.
Mdluli said they believed Moache would be of the “utmost” assistance in the case they were investigating.
“We believe she can assist us in the fraud investigation wherein other Botswana nationals were conned into paying money for jobs they were promised,” she said.
The payment was understood to be made to secure employment.
Mdluli said they were hoping they would be able to wrap up the investigation and finalise the case.
“Anyone with information can come forward to assist us; other victims are also urged to contact us,” she said.
Anyone with information that could be of assistance in locating Moache was urged to contact the detectives at the Akasia police station at 012 541 1005 or the police station itself at 012 564 0700.
