Covid-19: Tshwane active Covid infections continue to plummet
The city's coronavirus active infections continue to show a drop in week-on-week infections with cases below 2 000.

Week-on-week coronavirus active infections in Tshwane continue to plummet, falling to below 2 000 cases.
As of Sunday, the region’s active infections stood at 1 963 from 2 601 the previous week.
Tshwane mayor Randall Williams said he was encouraged to see the weekly trend of declining Covid-19 active cases.
“However it’s important that we do not lower our guards and continue to adhere to Covid-19 regulations,” he said.
“Once again, I would like to call on qualifying residents young and old to vaccinate.”

“To get your Covid-19 vaccine shot, residents need to register on the electronic vaccination data system and bring their identification details to any of the 43 vaccination sites in Tshwane. It is no longer necessary to wait for an appointment.”
