A tavern owner was also fined for selling alcohol illegally.

At least 14 people, aged between 23 and 48, were arrested during an inner-city operation on Wednesday.
Those arrested faced charges such as theft, common assault and using motor vehicles without the owner’s consent.
Three suspects were charged with the possession of drugs and another on a charge of common robbery.
“With a high volume of thefts out of vehicles in the inner city, the police managed to trace a male suspect after he broke into a parked vehicle and stole a laptop,”
Police spokesperson Constable T Nkhumise said. A tavern owner was fined R1 500 for selling liquor illegally. Those arrested will appear in the Pretoria magistrate’s court on Wednesday.
Nkhumise encouraged the community to report any crimes to the police anonymously at 08600 10111 or 112.
