Weekend movies: The Ghostbusters are back!

Experience the spooky movie fun in their regular, larger-than-life Xtreme and luxurious VIP cinemas.

There’s also a new horror movie, as well as the true-life story of Venus and Serena Williams’ rise to fame, in Nu Metro’s cinemas from Friday.

[Showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park, Woodlands Boulevard and Mams Mall] When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a spooky, action-packed comedy-adventure tailor-made for all-out movie fun.

KING RICHARD (13 LPV) [Showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park and Woodlands Boulevard] King Richard is the inspiring true-life story of Richard Williams (Will Smith) – an unwavering father, instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, who ends up changing the sport of tennis.

He has a plan that will take Venus and Serena Williams from the streets of Compton, California, to the global stage as legendary icons.

  DEMONIC (16 HLV) [Showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park only] In Demonic, the new horror-thriller from South African-born director Neill Blomkamp, it’s not a dream and, it’s not reality.

A young woman unleashes terrifying demons when supernatural forces at the root of a decades-old rift between mother and daughter are ruthlessly revealed.
