The Road Traffic Management Corporation is investigating a reckless and negligent driver caught on recorded footage pulling acrobatic stunts from a moving vehicle on Moloto Road in Pretoria.

The video footage of the incident was publicised on various social media platforms, where the driver in a red SUV is seen pulling stunts from the vehicle, while it swerved from lane to lane.

A man from the vehicle, believed to be the driver of the car, can be seen climbing through the window and later sitting on the vehicle’s roof, while it’s still in motion.

It is not clear how the car was steered.

The driver of the car, with a Gauteng number plate, can be seen towards the end of the video blowing a kiss at the traffic behind, before swerving right onto the R57 to Pretoria.

RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane said, “Investigations are underway and we are following leads.” “

We confident that we will bring the perpetrator to book.”
