Unknown man found murdered in car set alight

Temba SAPS believes that rocks and sticks were used in the attack, however the motive is still unclear.

Temba police asked the public to please come forward with any information relating to the discovery of a murdered man found at Dilopye village.

The body was discovered in the early hours of July 13 after police received a tip-off about a burning car, according to Temba SAPS station commander Brigadier Johannes Tau.

First responding officers found the man with his hands bound, suffering multiple injuries to his upper and lower body.

Police have opened a case of murder, and the identity of the deceased has not been discovered, though police believe the victim was between 30 and 40 years old.

A Nissan NP200 was set alight.

Tau pleads to the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and instead report any intelligence relating to crime to 08600 10111.
