Three shot dead in separate incidents in Laudium
The three men were shot and killed by unknown suspects in separate incidents.

A 55-year-old man was shot dead in Laudium on Thursday, the police have confirmed
Police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe the man was shot on Emerald Street about 16:00 on July 21.
She said a white Toyota Corolla stopped in front of the man and an unknown number of suspects started firing.
“The victim was shot multiple times and declared dead on the scene,” she said.
Selepe said no arrests have yet been made.
In a separate incident earlier, a 33-year-old man was gunned down as he entered his yard in Itereleng informal settlement also in Laudium.
Selepe said the shooting happened around 10:00.
“He was shot several times,” she said.
“The deceased sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene.”
On Wednesday, a 26-year-old man suffered fatal injuries in a drive-by shooting also in Itereleng informal settlement.
The man was sitting in his car with a friend when a maroon car approached them and the occupants started shooting.
“The victim suffered fatal wounds but his friend was, however, not injured,” she said.
Selepe said the police have launched a manhunt for the suspects responsible for the three murders.
She urged anyone who can assist with information about these cases to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
Acting district commissioner Brigadier Samuel Thine condemned the murders and urged the community to stand together to report the perpetrators.
He said the people responsible will be arrested and brought before the court.
