A truck driver sustained moderate injuries after being struck by a car

A male truck driver suffered a leg fracture when he was hit by a car on the N1 North at the R21 interchange on Monday evening.

CERT-SA said the driver got injured when a passing vehicle lost control and hit him.

“The driver of a truck was pulled over by police for a routine traffic stop and was standing, talking to the officers, when a passing vehicle, towing a trailer, lost a wheel that hit the man on his leg, resulting in his leg being fractured.”

According to a Cert statement, the truck driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was in a stable condition.
