Weather for the week: Mild week ahead

A mild week ahead for Tshwane, with temperatures expected to cool off by the weekend.

Pretoria is in for a mild week with cloudy and partly cloudy weather with temperatures cooling off toward the weekend, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).

Tuesday is expected to reach a maximum of 31°C, with a possibility of late thundershowers after a day of partly cloudy weather.

Wednesday will be slightly warmer, with a maximum of 32°C and a minimum of 17°C. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain.

Temperatures are expected to start cooling off from Thursday, with a maximum of 30°C and a minimum of 18°C. Rain showers are expected on Thursday with a moderate likelihood of rain.

Friday is expected to have a maximum of 28°C and a minimum of 18°C, with partly cloudy weather and a moderate chance of rain.

The weekend is expected to be cool with both Saturday and Sunday having a maximum of 23°C and a minimum of 15°C.

Saturday is expected to be overcast, but rain is not likely, while Sunday with be mostly clear with a slight chance of rain.
