Mamelodi motivational launches book

The book is a special tool which will help one to forgive and move on after they have been through depression, abuse as well as rejection.

A Mamelodi author and motivational speaker has launched her first book titled, Forgiveness is about me.

Clara Mashabane of Mamelodi said the book is a special tool which will help one to forgive and move on after they have been through depression, abuse or rejection.

In the book, she shares a mixture of practical experiences and what God had taught her when she was going through the pain of her past, and also after she decided to forgive those who had hurt her.

She said she is hoping that this book will encourage individuals who are struggling with unforgiveness, help them to deal with it and eventually forgive those who have hurt them to move on with their lives.

Mashabane is also a minister of God’s word and a motivational speaker of note who uses her life experience to encourage others.

She said her passion for women propelled her to start a foundation, Woman Be Healed and is currently studying towards her BEd degree.

She had been through so much as a child such as being molested by a family member as well as abused and rejected.

Over the years Clara has involved in community initiatives such as a local farming project, is a youth pastor and leader in her local church and was recently appointed assistant pastor.

“When I turned to God for help, He then set me free from not only the depression but also bitterness, hurt and suicidal thoughts and I learned how to forgive those who hurt in the past,” said Mashabane.

Even though she knew it was not easy to forgive but for her healing, she knew that she needed to forgive those people.

Woman Be Healed aim’s to heal the wounds of women – spirituality, physically, emotionally as well as psychologically – and ensure that no one will commit suicide after they came across this organisation.

“As an organisation, we are working hand-in-hand with pastors from different churches, they believe that Christ still saves even today,” she added.

Woman Be Healed wants to see ladies giving their lives to Christ because after all this is what it is preaching to them.

She said that turning to God for how to forgive and let go of past hurt set her free from depression, bitterness, hurt, and suicidal thoughts.
