Moot 13-year-old is found safe, police confirm

Isabelle Van Staden (13) was last seen on August 3 but police confirmed on Saturday afternoon that she was indeed found and safe.

Thirteen-year-old Isabelle Van Staden from Villieria in the Moot who had been missing has been found, police have confirmed.

Isabelle had been missing for almost three days.

Tshwane police spokesperson Johan Van Dyk confirmed that Isabelle Van Staden had been reunited with her family.

“They were looking everywhere for her and they are now at the station to give their statements,” said Van Dyk.

Isabelle’s family had been desperately searching for her, while communities spread the message of her disappearance.

Angelique Jacobs, Isabelle’s mother, said that she saw her on Thursday, August 3.

She was last seen by her mother at 05:00 on August 3, when she left for work.

Jacobs wished to thank members of the community who assisted the family.
