Schoolgirl goes missing in Mamelodi
Kgomotso Ditaba's family is desperately looking for the Grade 9 Somafco Secondary School learner.
A Mamelodi family has asked the public to help them find their missing daughter, who was last seen on August 25.
Kgomotso Ditaba (15) of Mamelodi East ext. 4 was last seen boarding a white Golf taxi to Nellmapius.
Her father Oupa Shadunga said according to the information he received from her mother, she had returned home from school earlier that day and changed into a red T-shirt, black skirt and sandals.
The mother had last seen the Grade 9 Somafco Secondary School learner at around 15:30.
Shadunga said he was only made aware of her disappearance on August 28.
He said this was not the first time she’d gone missing. He was told that Kgomotso regularly disappeared, but would return the following day.
“We have searched everywhere for her, including her friend’s place, in Nellmapius, Phase 2 Mamelodi East, her school and generally around Mamelodi.”
Both parents opened a missing person’s case at the Mamelodi East police station on August 28.
Shadunga pleaded with his daughter to please come back home, saying life without her was not the same.
Mamelodi East police are yet to comment on the missing person’s case.
If you have seen Kgomotso or know her whereabouts, please contact Shadunga on 084 735 2196 or 064 655 0005.
