Fire breaks out at mall on R55
Tshwane emergency services confirmed that no one was injured in the blaze.
A large plume of smoke could be seen rising over Centurion near Monavoni as a fire broke out at a shopping centre on the R55.
The fire that erupted at Mall@55 earlier this afternoon has been extinguished.
According to Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Refiloe Phantshang, no one was injured in the fire.
Phantshang confirmed that the fire was extinguished and that firefighters were busy damping down the scene.
She said that firefighters received the call for a fire at the Mr. Price warehouse at about 17:30.

Residents were asked to avoid the area as emergency services attended to the blaze.
