School celebrates 125 years of German excellence with music festival
The Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria uses its performance to prepare for a musical festival in Cape Town of five German schools.
The Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria is celebrating 125 years of educational excellence this year.
The school’s DSP Symphony celebrated this achievement at the In Shere Lifestyle Centre on February 9.

The orchestra performed a variety of popular as well as classical songs on the piazza in front of the main restaurants to the delight of all the restaurantgoers, parents, friends and grandparents.
The 30-learner-strong orchestra is also preparing for Orchestra Week, scheduled to take place in Cape Town from March 11–15.
This collaborative event in the Western Cape marks the first orchestral meeting of the German schools from Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Windhoek since the Covid-19 pandemic.
