Help police find Nellmapius resident who went missing at hospital

Enos Mpotsane Maodi’s partner, Mmakatse Jane Mpepele last saw him when they went to Mamelodi Regional Hospital for his checkup and to get his medication as he was not well.

A 62-year-old Nellmapius resident went missing on April 18 .

Enos Mpotsane Maodi of Extension 4 was last seen wearing a peach T-shirt, black jacket, black trousers and black shoes.

Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said Maodi is tall and dark in complexion and suffers memory loss.

Maodi’s partner, Mmakatse Jane Mpepele, reported him missing.

Mpepele said she accompanied Maodi to Mamelodi regional hospital, for his checkup and to collect his medication as he was not well.

“Mpepele indicated that after the checkup, both got into a taxi to go home then she realised she had forgotten to ask the doctor for a sick note so left him in the taxi while she went back to the hospital,” said Khulong.

She said when she returned, she did not find Maodi.

“She then asked the people outside the gate if they seen him,” said Khulong.

A bystanders said he had seen the man she described walking up the road.

The complainant also went to the Maodi’s place to look for him but could not find him.

Khulong confirmed there is no waiting period to report missing person.
