Three suspects, one of whom was armed, injured the homeowner and ransacked the house.

A Laudium woman and her domestic worker were bound at the wrists with steel wire during a house robbery that happened at around 11:40 on Thursday.

According to the PAJ Community Patrollers, the women were tied up by three suspects, one of whom was armed with a small pistol.

The suspects fled the scene after the robbery.

Tshwane police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk confirmed that the SAPS were investigating the incident.

“Three suspects entered the homeowner’s house, wearing scarves covering their faces, and armed with a small black pistol,” he said.

During the robbery, one suspect allegedly hit the homeowner on her left shoulder with the firearm.

The suspects then tied the two women up, and demanded money, while they ransacked the house.

Van Dyk said no shots were fired during the incident.
