Cool, fine weather on the cards this week for Pretoria

Friday will see a slight decrease in temperature, with a high reaching 19°C.

The South African Weather Service has predicted that Pretoria residents can expect a cool, fine week with no rain or thunderstorms.

Spokesperson Lehlohonolo Thobela said there would be clear skies with fine temperatures this week.

Thobela said the weather in Pretoria is forecast to be partly cloudy and cool. It is expected to reach a minimum of 10°C and a maximum of 20°C on Tuesday.

Thobela predicted that Wednesday would be fine and cool with a minimum of 8°C and a maximum of 21°C.

“Thursday, the maximum will be 22°C.

“The temperature will slightly decrease on Friday with a maximum of 19°C,” said Thobela.

He said the decrease in temperature on Friday will be due to a passing cold front, with no chances of rain.

Here are some tips on how to keep warm:

– Wear warm clothes, layers are best including a hat

– If outside, wear boots or shoes

– Make sure you have enough food and medication

– Check the weather forecast regularly

– Consume hot drinks and food regularly.
